Meet the team
Martin Powell – Managing Director
As Managing Director, Martin has over 30 year’s experience in finance. This includes mortgage packaging, lending, underwriting loans, debt management, estate/lettings agency ownership, and management of a large sales force. He has been a committee member of South Gloucestershire FSB, director/trustee of South Gloucestershire CAB and school governor.
When not working, Martin enjoys his Welsh smallholding, fishing, sea kayaking and exploring the coast and countryside with Jean and their two dogs, as well as supporting his two adult children in their careers. He also has a collection of boy’s toys, including a tractor, JCB digger and dumper truck!
Jean Powell – Director
Jean has over 30 year’s experience in office management, finance and marketing. She has worked in both the commercial and charity sectors, predominantly in service industries including business finance and construction consultants.
Jean enjoys walking and exploring the coast and countryside with Martin and their two dogs, dividing their time between West Wales and Bristol. She is a keen cake baker, crafter and gardener, as well as a volunteer for the National Trust.
